Jireh Lyrics Maverick City ft. Chandler Moore Naomi Raine (Story Behind)

Jireh Lyrics Maverick City ft. Chandler Moore Naomi Raine:

"Jireh" was written by Steven Furtick, Chandler Moore, Naomi Raine, Chris Brown

I’ll never be more loved than I am right now
Wasn’t holding You up so there’s nothing I can do to let You down
Doesn’t take a trophy to make You proud
I’ll never be more loved than I am right now

Going through a storm but I won’t go down
I hear Your voice carried in the rhythm of the wind to call me out
You would cross an ocean so I wouldn’t drown
You’ve never been closer than You are right now

Jireh You are enough
Jireh You are enough
I will be content in every circumstance
Jireh You are enough

Don’t wanna forget how I feel right now
On the mountaintop I can see so clear what it’s all about
Stay by my side when the sun goes down
Don’t wanna forget how I feel right now

I’m already loved
I’m already chosen
I know who I am
I know what You’ve spoken
I’m already loved
More than I could imagine
And that is enough
That is enough
You are enough
So I am enough

If He dresses the lilies with beauty and splendor
How much more will He clothe you
How much more will He clothe you
If He watches over every sparrow
How much more does He love you
How much more does He love you

More than you ask, think or imagine
According to His power working in us
It’s more than enough

Story Behind Jireh Lyrics Maverick City ft. Chandler Moore Naomi Raine

Chris Brown of Elevation Worship said that "Jireh" was the first song that he, Steven Furtick, Chandler Moore and Naomi Raine had written together.

Over the past year, the Mav crew has become more like family to us,” said Chris. “The times we’ve spent writing and worshipping together have been very special and felt equally important to what God was doing in both of our ministries.” Out of one of their first songwriting sessions came the song “Jireh,” a powerful ballad that Elevation Worship has been singing in their church services for several months.

Naomi Raine shared her story on the writing session , saying "We were sitting in the room and Pastor Steven says, ‘I have been thinking about this line that I will never be more loved than I am right now. Honestly, this song flowed out.

We were in that room for about 10-12 hours, so, for me, this writing session is actually one of the defining writing moments of my life because more than it was a tool of ministry for someone else, I was singing that to myself and I think this song, as I believe it will change people’s lives, it has changed mine.
